Local Loop Clowne is a small business, but a HUGE force for good!
The concept was dreamt up between Kim & Mark Willett and Laurenne & Gareth Hopkins (Happy Roots Farm) in the hope we could make buying local, British and ethical products just as easy as an online supermarket shop.
If there are a couple of positives to cling to from the troubling times we’re living through right now; there has been an unprecedented surge in community spirit and lots more people wanting to support local businesses. There has also been time for us all to reflect on the impact our modern consumer behaviour is having on the natural world.
So, while ‘normal’ shopping habits are up in the air, we’re hoping to sneak in with a brand new option that will help you to spend a little (or a lot!) of your money with small local businesses, the best of British farming co-operatives and environmentally friendly products which help you and your family tread a little more lightly on the planet.
Please check out the brand pages for the products you view on our website to learn about the values and vision your money will be supporting. Every single purchase will help us to grow our service and product range, but also direct money to some incredible local and national initiatives who value people and the planet above their profits.
Let’s push #supportlocal #buybritish and #bethechange beyond the hashtags and make good things happen!

While there is lots of effort going into Local Loop Clowne behind the scenes (Gareth taking care of the tech, Laurenne sourcing the best foods and treats and Mark providing practical support for every operation in between!) it’s Kim who you’re most likely to meet in person.
Some of you may know her through her role leading the Plastic Free Clowne Campaign and organising some of the group litter picking events that were held last year. Others may know her personally as she’s a local gal, living in Clowne almost her whole life. If you don’t know her at all, rest assured she’s a good egg and very much looking forward to meeting you all!
Hi to all.
I’m Glynis and I’m only a village away (Langwith). Up until my friend just tagged me in one of your facebook posts, I wasn’t even aware of your existence. Now I am, I’d very much like to support you. I always buy natural, cruelty free, environmentally friendly products wherever possible and to now have the opportunity to do all of that whilst supporting local businesses too is awesome.
If you have a mailing list, could you please add me to it?
Many thanks
Glynis xx
Hi Glynis, it’s great to hear from you, thank you for getting in touch! You’ve actually found us right at the beginning of our journey, we have only been trading for two weeks! We don’t have a mailing list at the moment but we post updates on our facebook page regularly. I hope you find the website easy to navigate but if you have any questions, please do ask. We operate on a weekly cycle of orders cutting off on Wednesdays at midnight with collection on Fridays. I’ll look forward to meeting you if you decided to go ahead with an order. Best wishes, Kim
Hi Kim
First time I’ve had a look at the web site properly and some of the items definitely take my fancy. The breads, salad items and more. I will definitely be putting an order in soon. Happy to support where I can.

Hi, just wondered if you delivered to Worksop? Thank you
Hi Annette, we don’t deliver to Worksop unfortunately but you would be welcome to place an order and collect from us. Best wishes, Kim
